Teen who lost mother to cancer finds healing through ‘roller coaster’ of grief

Now 7 years later in 2019, Christie is able to reflect on the last few years with a slightly brighter perspective. Her world is no longer pitch black, and she’s able to carry on with life with a happier mindset – just like how her mom would have always wanted her to.

In her post, she writes, “It’s been a long (but also very fast) few years. It’s been filled with both highs and lows, and everything that comes in between. But finally, I am ready to say it out loud to the world.”
