Christie continues her post saying, “As much love and support as I got from everyone around me, there was still very little they could do to help. At the time, the only people who could truly make things feel a little better were those who had lived through something similar.”
Although her friends and loved ones were the ones who knew her the most, they weren’t the ones who knew how she felt or what to say. So shortly after the funeral, Christie sought support elsewhere.
