Just a few short weeks after she passed away, her mother’s funeral was held. This sad day of their final goodbyes was a blur for Christie too. She wasn’t ready to say goodbye.
She never would be. One thing she does remember about that day is that all of her friends were there to support her and hold her hand through it all. They traveled from all across the country from their respective colleges just to be there for her. It meant the world to Christie. She had amazing friends.
