The rest of Christie’s family remained optimistic with wishful thinking, but Christie simply couldn’t cope in the same way. Despite the rest of them remaining hopeful, all longing for her mom to get some sort of miracle, Christie felt as though she had no choice but to accept the worst.
The odds were not in their favor, and Christie couldn’t help but imagine what life would be like without her mom by her side. She didn’t want to go on anymore. She just wanted to stop the world, and get off forever.
