Vivian is the mother of four: Hilary, Carlton, Ashley, and Nicky. She is aunt and wife of Will and Phillip, respectively. She is also a scholar.
Janet Hubert played Vivian’s role in the first three seasons of the show, and her sarcastic and enthusiastic character was more pronounced than in following seasons where Daphne Reid took her role. She derived so much pleasure in making fun of others. She is fond and close with her sisters, and they are always excited when found together.
