We’re sticking with accents here – only this time, with the incredible Sean Connery. Now, don’t get us wrong, there is no denying that The Hunt for Red October is a fantastic film.
However, it seems as though Connery was not interested in trying to put on a Russian accent to play Marko Aleksandrovich Ramius. Instead, he gets through the whole movie with his distinct Scottish accent – which has led to many of us jokingly slurring, “Red October, shtanding by,” over the years.
