There’s no denying that Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri deserved every single one of the 123 awards it received, including two Oscars. However, there was just something uncomfortable about Abbie Cornish playing the wife of Woody Harrelson’s character, Chief Willoughby.
Cornish is 21 years younger than Harrelson, which doesn’t really make sense considering the socioeconomic status of the characters. While she did a great job in the role, it would have been nicer to see someone a bit older play the part.
