Strapless dresses may always seem like a good idea at the time, but more often than not, they end up being more of a hassle than anything. That is why it is important to make sure you have some tape, so that you avoid a fashion catastrophe.
Jennifer Lawrence learned this the hard way during the 2011 BAFTA Awards, when the top of her blue gown would not for the life of it stay in place. She ended up looking like this for the majority of the evening.
