According to royal commentator Omid Scobio, Meghan may have political ambitions for the future. In fact, those aspirations might go all the way to the Presidency of the United States. Having an official royal title would get in the way of running for office in the USA, and she would have to sacrifice any dual residency or citizenship. As a royal, she would not be able to voice any political opinion, let alone run for any level of office.
Yet, now that the two are relatively free of their former ties, anything could be possible in the not-so-distant future.
