Since moving from the UK, Harry and Meghan have appeared more confident about expressing their opinions on matters close to their heart. This isn’t without controversy back in Britain. Traditionally, royals rarely express any kind of opinion that could be seen as political or potentially divisive. In fact, to further reinforce their political neutrality, members of the royal household do not vote.
Still, since moving to the United States, Harry and Meghan have put their weight behind a number of environmental and social causes. And, they’re likely to continue to do so in the future.
