Due to Harry and Meghan no longer receiving public funding, this means that they will have to pay the taxpayers back for the $3 million costs of renovations done to their their royal property, Frogmore Cottage.

The home was given to the Sussexes by the Queen in 2019 as their official place of royal residence. Prior to moving in, the couple had renovation done to the property including new stairs, fireplaces, and ‘floating’ wooden door – it ended up costing British taxpayers $3 million.
