On January 8, 2020, Meghan Markle and Prince Harry dropped one of the biggest bombshells the Royal Family had seen in a while – announcing that they would be stepping back as senior royals. While Harry and Meghan are still considered the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, they are no longer known as His Royal Highness and Her Royal Highness.

These are exclusive titles that are only used within the Royal Family. Since their departure and move to LA, they prefer to be called by their first names anyways – so we assume they are not overly upset about losing their HRH titles, they do want to live a more private, normal life after all.
