This one seems like it’s a bit weird but it’s actually a pretty common thing that kids do. If you ever see children deliberately blinking at a picture or a page of a book, it’s not because they all of a sudden have an urge to blink.
It’s more likely that they are trying to use their eyes as cameras, thinking they can take mental pictures of things and store them in their brain. Interesting.
