Sometimes, it’s the celebrity in question who fesses up to some royally awful behavior. This was certainly the case for Mandy Patinkin, who spoke candidly about his earlier career. Long before playing Saul on Homeland, Patinkin starred on medical drama Chicago Hope.

During that period in his life, he didn’t see direction as anything more than criticism, and admitted that he flat out ignored his show’s directors. “Don’t talk to me, I don’t want your opinion,” he recalled telling them, before saying he wasn’t proud of his behavior then.
