For those in the know, Toy Story was created on computers made by Silicon Graphics, a now-defunct computer manufacturer.

Creating the first full-length, fully-CGI movie wasn’t easy, either. It took Pixar four whole years, which is understandable considering the 77-minute film required 800,000 machine-hours just to produce a final cut. Just one frame took three hours to create!
