Moana was a lovely movie about duty and family that had the added bonus of shining a spotlight on Polynesian culture, which many Americans aren’t familiar with. Well, when the Rock gets elected president he might enter it into the school curriculum.
Speaking of the Rock, he voices rapscallion demigod Maui, who joins the titular Moana on her quest to return the heart of Te Fiti to its rightful owner. Disney being Disney, though, they had to add two adorable animal sidekicks – Pua the pig and Heihei the rooster. Apart from not mentioning the pig, this description’s spot-on.
