Most people may not have even realized this – despite the Stan Lee cameo – but Big Hero 6 is actually a Marvel movie, technically. The absence of the Marvel title card in the beginning notwithstanding, it’s based on a relatively obscure Marvel comics superhero group.
Don’t fret – they’ve made like three appearance since being created in the late ’90s. Anyway, the movie makes some drastic changes, dumping pretty much everything to do with the comic except for the name. To be fair, the movie’s protagonist is a bit less petty than this makes him out to be. A bit.
