Less of a bad sum-up of Lilo & Stitch and more of a Michael Bay fever dream, if the Transformers auteur hasn’t already made this premise a reality, we’re sure he will soon enough.
We mean, apart from the emotional manipulation of orphans, which gets ruled out not on the basis of being evil but on the basis of his films featuring no emotion of any kind, it’s a classic Bay premise. And to just think that shooting it will have him spending a couple of months in Hawaii… That’s Adam Sandler-level gaming of the system!
