Beautiful movie about following your dreams though it is, Ratatouille presents a scenario that in real life would probably result in prosecution. Remember pizza rat, which marked the first time in history a rodent went viral without wiping out a quarter of the world’s population?
Well, Ratatouille is basically that, only it wants us to cheer for that rat to live its best life as a chef. Patton Oswalt is a saint, but even he couldn’t make this premise hold water. Don’t lie – if you discovered a sewer rat was making your food, you’d have called the police.
