The only thing overtly wrong with this description of Avengers: Infinity War is that it thought small. The single dad in question, Thanos, doesn’t just want to end world hunger – he wants to end all hunger in the universe. Everything else is pretty spot-on, though. Sounds a little mundane, maybe, but not inaccurate.
By the by, this might be a good opportunity to address the often-repeated claim that his plan doesn’t make sense, because eventually the population numbers will go back to unsustainable levels. Of course it doesn’t make sense – he’s Grimace with a hankering for genocide.
