A woman found Officer Merman here at a garage sale, and was “equal parts perplexed and entertained” by the item. She bought it as a gift for the brother-in-law, who’s a police officer, and has kept an eye out for other merman officer products to add to the collection, but so far, she hasn’t found anything else.
We wonder what was the thought behind the creation of the figurine, which seems to be a Christmas tree ornament. “When you have to enforce the state law’s by 7, but you need to watch over Ariel at 8”?
