It’s not uncommon for Royal Family insiders to remain relatively private in both their personal lives and their connection to the family, so it should come as no surprise that we don’t know a ton about the Bakers.
However, we can say that we know Oliver Baker is a really close friend of William, and his wife Mel Baker is close with Kate. In fact, Oliver is one of the godparents of Prince George. Oliver and William reportedly met while playing rugby, and we can assume that Kate met Mel through them.
