As the months went by, Eva grew stronger and stronger. She would kick inside her mother’s belly, and even hiccup. Everything pointed to signs of a healthy baby, but unfortunately, without a significant portion of her brain and skull, her life expectancy stood at zero.
The couple struggled constantly with their situation, and it was an extremely painful time for them – they even considered aborting the pregnancy at one point. They knew that shortly after saying hello to their beautiful baby girl, they would have to say goodbye. They kept fighting and tried to maintain a normal semblance of a life even though they were hurting on the inside.
