Perhaps one of the most complicated decisions a person can make is choosing whether to keep their child or not, especially when they know the baby will not live. Continuing on with a pregnancy that really only has three possible outcomes, and all of them tragic, is not an easy decision.
The three possibilities were either a miscarriage, stillborn, or the child living for only a few hours. Regardless of knowing how hard it was going to be, Keri and Royce decided they wanted to continue on with the pregnancy and carry their baby girl to full term. The reason behind their decision was because they wanted their child’s life to mean something.
