Keri and Royce remember the shocking moment and it will probably be engraved forever in their memory as one of the worst moment of their lives. It was at this appointment they were informed that their baby, who ended up being a girl, had anencephaly and she was terminally ill. Anencephaly is a condition where a baby is missing parts of their brain and skull.
Their little girl had no chance of survival, and possibly didn’t even have a chance to live. The Young’s had a big decision to make. Most people in this situation choose to terminate the pregnancy when they learn their child will not make it anyway. These two, however, decided to take a different path.
