Lindsay Lohan is one of many examples of talented child actors who get derailed by fame and fortune at a too young age. Sometime after Mean Girls, her rising star started coming crashing down due to a string of worrying events.
It soon became evident Lindsay had gone down the route of excessive partying and substance abuse, and soon enough she became known as a difficult and unreliable actress. She had frequent run-ins with the law, would be late for shooting, and lash out at directors and co-stars alike. It seems as if Lindsay has somewhat cleaned up her act in recent years, but her career is far from where it used to be.
