Marlon Brando rose to fame back in the ’50s, and enjoyed a flourishing career almost til the very end. But he was also known to be difficult, and especially during his later years. He would show up to set intoxicated, didn’t even bother to learn his lines, and also demanded to be shot only from certain angles.
Even though the world will always admire his acting, and The Godfather especially is a legendary cinematic masterpiece, the truth is Marlon was someone many directors dreaded working with.
