Gene Hackman is apparently nothing more than an old school bully with an inflated ego, just like many of the older generations of Hollywood leading men seem to be.
Apparently he routinely offended both writers and the esteemed director Wes Anderson on the set of The Royal Tenenbaums. By offend, we mean he straight up cursed at them. How he treated his co-stars we don’t know, but if he didn’t think insulting the director (aka the boss) was crossing the line, we doubt he had much respect for the other actors.
