Remember Growing Pains? Everyone loved this ‘80s sitcom, and it was much thanks to Kirk Cameron who played the charming teen Mike during the show’s seven-year run. But, somewhere along the way, Kirk started becoming a real headache for his co-stars, the writers, and directors.
He became very religious, and because of that demanded the script to be revised to fit his religious beliefs. Thanks to his status as the star of the show, he often got his way, to the point where he got his co-star Julie McCullough fired. But these days, Kirk’s movie career is basically non-existent.
