Let’s just be honest, Madonna is a terrible actress. The only reason she has appeared in so many movies, is because of her fame and success as a pop star (something she’s legitimately good at, so we have no idea why she for years insisted on also acting).
Madonna was used to being a huge star always getting her way for years before she set foot on her first film set, and apparently continued to behave as if it was a one-woman show. Her refusal to take direction from professional directors, both ensured she was terrible to work with – and that her movies flopped.
