The jeweler wasn’t out of options though, and he had enough left of the ring to recreate it exactly the same. There were seemingly enough areas of the ring left in its original shape for the jeweler to figure out how to recreate the entire piece of jewelry.
Once the thickness and width of the ring were measured out, it was a simple case of punching the numbers into the design program. The CAD program was used to recreate it perfectly, although the jeweler did say it could also be done using a wax recreation.
