[post_page_title]Edward Norton – controlling the film even though he’s not the director[/post_page_title]
Edward Norton made history when he was acting in the movie American History X. Much of his fame was from that movie. However, fewer people will know what Norton did in there.

Although he may be successful, that does not give him the authority to override whatever the director wanted for the movie. In fact, the film’s director, Tony Kaye, was banned from the editing room while Norton and a few others re-cut the film into something Kaye did not recognize. Such actions have made Norton seem very hard to work with.
