These bad boys are known as 360-degree wall plugs. They’re wall sockets that can rotate a full 360 degrees, in other words. While something like this isn’t always going to be needed, plugs of this nature would come in handy if you were trying to plug something in that was blocked by something else.
For example, if an outlet was somewhat blocked by a couch, one of these 360-degree plugs could be rotated in any manner you wanted to make things work.
