This is certainly a new era of monarchy, which abstains from being silent, especially when dealing with causes that are important to them. Some of the causes the royals have been pretty vocal about include mental health care, homeless crisis and veterans services.
This also extends to personal private feelings which were shoved under the rug during Prince Philip’s time, and to a certain extent, Charles’s era as well. However, in more recent years, this has most definitely changed.
