In order to make George feel more comfortable about his future role, the Cambridges explain things to their son in a way that makes it sound more like a fairy tale.
George does understand that he will be the future King of England, and that there is indeed something that is special about him, but it is all made to sound like a fun and exciting adventure, with Will relaying all this to him as though he is reading from a storybook.
