In 1992, despite the fact they were formally separated, Charles and Diana remained committed to allowing their children, Will and Harry, to experience “a happy and secure upbringing.”
Will has expressed his sadness at the fact that he can’t turn to his mother for advice on how to raise his own kids, seeing as she was such an amazing mother that “smothered” himself and Harry with so much love. Will has said that he would “love her to have met Catherine and to have seen the children grow up.”
