Will attributes a the way he parents to his own upbringing. When Charles and Diana officially split, their differing parenting tactics became more obvious. Whilst Diana was pretty public with her boys, Charles made the decision to keep family time more private.
Charles had said that he wanted to keep his sons from doing public work until they had to, as opposed to Diana, who thought that the young princes should develop a sense of empathy to the emotions, insecurities, hopes and dreams of the people.
