Despite leading separate lives by the late 1980s, Charles and Diana remained unified as parents for their boys, still showing up to parent conferences together at school, or dropping Will off at Ludgrove as a team.
They also enlisted the headmaster’s assistance in ensuring that young Will had a relatively ‘normal’ experience at school, like hiding the newspapers when they released headlines that detailed Charles and Diana’s marital issues. The same happened with Will started going to Eton.
