It all became a bit of a palaver with the police sending a helicopter in search of him. Thankfully, they found him unharmed. After asking him why he left the house with a weapon, he replied saying that he simply wanted to go for a walk and wanted to take a firearm for protection.
So, there you have it – he just wanted to clear his head, and to protect himself from coyotes or mountain lions, Tarek took the weapon. The police and Christina understood his actions and reasonings.
