Gianni Versace’s Autumn/Winter 1997 Atelier Versace collection went down in history as the biggest fashion show in history due to it being known as his last collection, which happened nine days before his tragic death.

Versace’s Atelier show was presented during Paris haute couture week and showed his inspiration by catholic imagery and renaissance paintings. Many young designers grew up studying Versace’s last collection and continue to pay tribute to it through their designs.
