One of the many places that Versace took inspiration from was the incredible and artistic churches and cathedrals of his home country of Italy.

Here, the ceiling of his main living room can be seen taking inspiration from places like the Volta della Cappella Sistina, or the ceiling of the Sistine Chapel, which was first created by Michaelangelo between the years 1508 and 1512, considered to be a cornerstone of High Renaissance art. Simply majestic.
