Donatella Versace was by Gianni’s side throughout his life and career. The two Versace siblings shared a passion for not only fashion, but art as well.
Gianni and Donatella spent years collecting pieces of art and Roman sculptures to be used as an inspiration for the large fashion house. Gianni Versace was lured by this run-down apartment building after seeing a beautiful bronze statue that resembles a kneeling Aphrodite at the front of Casa Casuarina.
