While they weren’t an official couple, it’s fair to say that Lana Turner and Kirk Douglas convinced everyone that they were in 1952. This was due to Kirk’s recent divorce from Diana Dill, and their work in the box office hit, The Bad and The Beautiful.
These two became the hottest on-screen couple of the year, and it seemed as though those watching the movie at home or in the theater just couldn’t get enough of them. Despite many protestations, there’s no evidence to suggest there was anything romantic between them in real life.
