Unfortunately, as incredible as her life has been over the last few years, it hasn’t been without its difficulties. Alexis went through a particularly difficult period in 2014 after her mom passed away. It’s rarely ever easy to lose a parent, and Ren was devastated not to have her mother there by her side anymore.
The loss put her in “a toxic state of mind,” and escaping that negative mindset wasn’t easy. She ended up developing an unhealthy view of her body, something which could have derailed her career forever.
