There are many reasons why a child would be absent from school, but there’s none better than actually meeting a celebrity. This girl actually got to meet her idol, or rather her American Idol, David Cook – who was on season seven of the popular talent show.
And apparently, David Cook gives out sick notes to kids who miss school to come meet him, which is adorable. We bet the teacher who got this note wished they could’ve been there instead of their student!

Let’s be honest; raising kids can be really hard. And we mean a hit your head against the wall and scream kind of hard. This mom was having a pretty rough morning with her teenaged daughter, which caused her to be late for school.
She then gave the teacher this amazing note, explaining all about the severe condition of Teenage-ism, which caused her daughter to refuse to get up from bed that morning, and talk back to her mother. We hope she’s grown out of this dire condition by now.
