There’s something particularly biting about this note. While we have no doubt that this one was actually written by a parent, it’s somewhat less doting than you might expect. Rather, it sounds downright annoyed. This parent wrote a very scathing letter to their son’s employer, pointing out that it was pretty clear that their son was sick.
Going to the walk-in clinic, therefore, would have been overkill. We can’t only imagine what his boss thought when they read it. No doubt, they’re never going to ask for a doctor’s note again for the mere sniffles!
