There are many reasons that a pupil may call in from school. For instance, they may be feeling a little bit under the weather and needed a day off to recover. That’s a totally legitimate excuse, don’t you agree? The young fella in this text, however, decided that honesty was the best policy.
Instead of feigning some mysterious illness, he instead was direct and to the point. It was a lovely day and he decided to spend it at the beach instead of trapped in the classroom. Honestly, we don’t even blame him for it!
