Being a professional athlete is, obviously, hard work. Many people tend to chock athletic achievements up to pure talent, and that is certainly a component. But they are underestimating just how much effort is needed to excel beyond those who purely have talent but no work ethic.
Simone Biles is a premier professional gymnast, and she undoubtedly shed a good amount of blood, sweat, and tears on her path to greatness. She was interested in the pursuit as a kid, and plenty of training led her to now being considered a candidate for the greatest of all time.
