There is no greater pain in life than being left on read. Getting kicked in the crotch? Doesn’t compare. Going through childbirth? Not even close. Being left on read means that someone saw what you had to say and deemed it not worthy of a response.
That’s the type of thing that will keep you up at night. For this person’s progression, the message that they sent to somebody went from unread to read… and that’s it. Ouch! Seems like it’s time to get some better friends who care about texting back.
