Getting your first pet is a rite of passage. For many families, it’s a huge event, involving going to the local animal shelter and picking out a puppy or a kitten together. This child, though, didn’t want either of those options.
He had his eyes — and his heart — set on this crustacean. Sadly, lobsters don’t make very good pets. We like to think that this day ended with the parents returning the lobster to the store, with a promise that they’ll go to the animal shelter the next day to pick out a real pet together.

Some heroes are born. Others are forged out of necessity and rise to the occasion when their city calls upon them. For this boy, though, he decided to bypass all the unwritten rules of what makes a superhero.
He tried to take matters into his own hands and color in his skin to turn himself into an incredible superhero, but he was soon informed that green feet did not automatically make him a hero. We just hope that this doesn’t make him go off in the other direction and turn him into a villain!
